I thought book pirating was bad (I've been pirated multiple times), but it's nothing compared to art pirating I've seen lately.
Check here to see if any of your work appears and spread the word to other DA artists if you have the time. This site has ALOT of art on it. The fantasy section alone has over 1,000 pages of artwork loaded in as free screensavers and wallpapers.

Discovered this buried in the comments section of my GASLIGHT HADES blurb:
"You know you can get arrested and charged for stealing somebody else's stuff and then making a fake copyright...just saying you better delete this and get off deviant art!"

I have less than a dozen people watching this account, so for those that do, would you please post this in your profiles to spread the word and ask others to do the same.
A woman by the name of Angela Priest is using artwork created by various artists on dA to put on books she is giving away for free on places like Scribd, Bookrix and possibly Amazon. She was on Smashwords, but I believe was taken down because of reports of plagiarism by the author plagiarised. However, her work is still up at the other sites I noted above. Attached is a link to a "book" she's giving away for free containing at least 40 separate artworks. She is stating
